A child's postcode should never decide their future. Since 2019 we have worked in Ibadan's underprivileged communities to make sure it does not.
In the low-income communities around Ibadan, we kept meeting the same story: bright, capable children whose education ended not because of ability, but because of a school fee, a uniform, or a set of textbooks their family could not afford.
Chrysolite Foundation began in 2019 as a small volunteer effort to close that gap. We started going into communities directly — sitting with children and young adults, teaching them a craft they could earn from, and paying for the school costs that were keeping others out of the classroom.
In June 2023 we were formally incorporated as Incorporated Trustees with the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. That means every naira we receive is now governed by a registered constitution and accountable to law.
By the end of 2023 we had reached over 600 children and young adults with access to empowerment and education opportunities. We are still small, and we intend to stay close to the ground.

Stock photograph, by design. The foundation does not release images of the children it works with, so every photograph on this site is a licensed stock image (Pixabay — commercial use permitted, no attribution required). To provide young people in underprivileged communities with access to education and empowerment opportunities — removing the practical barriers that keep them out of the classroom and out of reach of their potential.
Communities where every child has the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in a constantly changing world — and where the next generation reaches back to lift the one behind them.
Live • Love • Empower
Live with purpose, love people without conditions, and leave everyone we meet more capable than we found them.
We never photograph or describe a child in a way that diminishes them. Support is offered, never performed.
A term of school fees is a start, not a solution. We teach skills that keep earning long after our programme ends.
We work in communities we know — Isale Osun, Beere and others across Ibadan — and shape each cohort around what the people there tell us they need.
We publish what we actually did. If a number cannot be verified, we do not print it.
Products made in our training programme are sold, and every naira of those sales funds the next cohort.
Donations are recorded, receipted and reported. Our registration and tax numbers are public.

About this image. Published unmodified — do not retouch or crop it, a
doctored registration document is worse than none. Note for the record: neither
this certificate nor the CAC public search result names the trustees, so §C of
